MILESTONES

Despite being in a pre-revenue stage, BBT has made substantial progress in laying the groundwork for commercialisation and market entry. Key milestones include:

  1. Technology Development: Completed the design and development of our proprietary AlgaeHive™ bioreactor system. The technology has been successfully prototyped and tested in controlled environments, demonstrating its scalability and efficiency in producing high-quality microalgae biomass.

  2. Intellectual Property: Filed patents to protect our innovative bioreactor design, ensuring we maintain a competitive edge as we move toward commercialisation.

  3.  Funding Secured: Raised over $400,000 in funding through grants and SAFE Agreements, enabling us to accelerate product development and cover operational costs.

  4. Deep Tech and Agtech Accelerator Completion: Graduated from Cicada Innovations' Deep Tech Accelerator Program, and NAFI, which provided us with critical business mentorship, industry connections, and exposure to potential investors and partners.

  5. Pilot Engagements: Initiated discussions with companies in the nutraceutical and bioplastics sectors, positioning AlgaeHive™ for rapid entry into these markets post-revenue.

FUTURE FUNDS

To continue our upward trajectory, BBT is seeking investment to fuel our next growth phase. Future funds will be allocated strategically across the following key areas:

  1. Commercial Scaling: A significant portion of funds will be directed toward scaling production of our bioreactors to meet rising demand. This includes establishing a manufacturing facility capable of producing larger quantities to serve multiple industries.

  2. Market Expansion: We plan to expand into international markets, focusing on high-growth regions in Europe and North America where demand for sustainable bioproducts is rapidly increasing.

  3. Research & Development: Continuous innovation is at the core of AlgaeHive™. Additional funding will support R&D to enhance our bioreactor technology, allowing us to explore new applications and maintain a competitive edge.

  4. Sales & Marketing: Funds will also be directed toward expanding our sales and marketing efforts, particularly in key sectors such as nutraceuticals and cosmetics, where our technology can provide a significant advantage. We aim to grow our client base and establish long-term contracts with industry leaders.

  5. Operational Growth: To support our growing team and operations, funds will be allocated to key hires in technical development, business development, and customer support, ensuring we can scale efficiently while maintaining the high level of service our partners expect.
